1911 년 설립된 Columbia University 의 미국 언어 프로그램 (ALP)은 미국에서 가장 오래된 2 차 언어로서의영어 프로그램 중 하나입니다.

이 프로그램은 Columbia University 에서 학위 프로그램을 받고 있는 전업의 언어 교육 학생 및 국제학생을지원하는 고품질의 대학 언어 강좌 및 기타 대학 관련 강좌를 제공하고 있습니다. ALP 는 영어 구사능력을향상시키고자 하는 학생을 비롯한 비지니스맨과 전문가들을 대상으로 종합 연속 강좌를 주의깊게 제공함으로써Columbia 의 국제화를 육성하고 있습니다.

영어연수과정

= Intensive Programs =
* Winter Institute: Super-intensive academic English language program. Classes are organized at several levels of English proficiency. Includes 72 hours of language instruction.

= Special Programs =
* Advanced Academic Preparation: Seven-week course for students who have immediate plans to enter a degree program in the U.S.
* English for Professional Purposes: Business - English language for business professionals and pre-MBA students.
* English for Professional Purposes: Law - English language for legal professionals and LLM students.
* English for Professional Purposes: SIPA - English for graduate studies in international and public affairs. Only open to students who are entering Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
* International Teaching Fellows Training: Special language and teacher training for International Teaching Fellows in the graduate schools at Columbia University.
