Macquarie University’s on campus English Centre, The Centre for Macquarie English (CME), provides a range of academic and general English courses, including discipline specific Direct Entry English programs, to help prospective students develop the language and study skills they need to succeed in their University studies. These courses are recognised by Macquarie University as official English entry programs, so students who successfully complete one of these courses do not need to sit for the IELTS test.
Macquarie University is located in Sydney, Australia. It is home to 32,000 students, including 8,900 international students. Macquarie International provides information and support for international students wishing to study at Macquarie, as well as for Macquarie students wishing to study overseas on exchange.
The Macquarie University IELTS Test Centre is one of the largest IELTS Test Centres in Australia, offering the IELTS test as well as a range of preparation courses and material. We are conveniently located at the heart of Macquarie University’s North Ryde campus and offer IELTS tests approximately twice per month. Over 12,000 candidates pass through our doors annually.
Our interactive IELTS Online and part-time face-to-face IELTS Intensive preparation courses designed by CME’s experienced IELTS teachers and examiners as well as IELTS Preparation books and materials will help you succeed in the IELTS Test. Our friendly staff will assist you in your efforts to succeed in the IELTS test.
